Teaching Assistant Training

While we strive to nurture skilled dancers, our greater mission is to cultivate kind, compassionate individuals.

Our Studio Leadership and Teaching Assistant Program is an opportunity to develop techniques and skills that will positively impact self-confidence, self-awareness, communication, public speaking, leadership, organization, and problem-solving abilities.

Teaching Assistants are invited to join us for a training session on Saturday, September 7, from 11am to 1pm at the studio.

You’re Invited to Our Open House!

We’d love for you to join us! Explore the studio, meet your teacher(s), or simply drop by to say “hello.”

We’ll have a shoe bank available—donate dance shoes that no longer fit, and if you’re in need of a pair, you might find just the right size!

Plus, all (in-person) LPD merchandise will be on sale at a discount during the event. Please note, that it’s cash only.

Classes Begin Monday, September 9

LPD Etiquette & Dress Code

• Classes kick off on Monday, September 9th! To ensure a smooth start, we kindly ask all parents and dancers to review our LPD etiquette & dress code policy before attending class.

What to Expect

• When you arrive, use the door on the right-hand side of 30 Harvey Road. Simply ring the bell to enter, and once you hear the door unlock, come on in!

• The last person to arrive is asked to kindly open the door for the next person. During busy times, please stay at the door to welcome others and help keep things running smoothly.

• On Saturdays, Ms. Regina will be there to greet our younger dancers and ensure they leave with their guardians.

• Remember to remove your shoes in the entrance. We have a closet at the top of the stairs and a cubby room for your personal items.

• Parents of Wee Dancers usually stay during class (at least for the first few weeks), while parents of dancers aged 5 and up typically drop their dancer(s) at the door.

• We have an open-door policy, allowing parents to observe classes if they wish. However, we’ve found that most students learn best when they are not observed. Part of the dance experience is fostering teamwork and independence, which helps students build confidence and focus during class. While you're always welcome, we encourage you to give your child the space to grow and develop these important skills.
